Leslie Wiles resides in Palm Beach County, and is a Jupiter, Florida native. She dual enrolled at Community College her junior and senior year of high school. Shortly after graduation, Leslie was married and stationed to a base in Germany with her then, Army Sergeant husband. It was on Rose Barracks, in Vilseck, Germany that she discovered her love for Interior Design, occupying her time by designing homes for her neighbors and friends while traveling Europe. She was enamored by the architecture and landscape of Western Europe and immersed herself in it. She was one of very few civilians ever to be honored by receiving a Commander's Coin from a 5 Star General for her exceptional service during his visit. She moved back to S.Florida in 2004 with a yearning to create a design career for herself. She enrolled and attended college at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. While attending school, she also worked full time at an Interior Design firm in Jupiter, Florida. She graduated with honors and a Bachelor's of Science in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2008. She was awarded a highest honor award on her graduate thesis for her use of new technologies, softwares, and autocad, for her graphic design and renderings. In 2011, she ventured out on her own to start her own business, forming LES Designs Inc.
Leslie has worked on thousands of both residential and commercial projects in Palm Beach County over her fifteen year span as an Interior Designer. Leslie has been the Interior Designer for Casa Nana, a historic Palm Beach Mizner Estate built in 1927, for the past decade. She has re-vamped or designed every room in its 30,000 square feet. She has traveled to Aspen, NY, Chicago, Cincinnati, and LA for design work. Luxe Palm Beach was started in her loft on Clematis Street (WPB) in 2014, due to her love of Palm Beach & Hollywood Regency furniture and all things vintage. She opened and ran a boutique on famed Antique Row that year, with another designer, to gain more knowledge of the antiques business. She left after six months to concentrate on her own brand. Luxe Furniture was Incorporated in 2018. Leslie has shipped pieces all over the globe, and helped several high profile clients, including James Patterson, Christian Siriano, Google, and many more select pieces from her collection for their spaces.
Leslie has always loved the artsy vibe of Northwood and chose to open her first store on this historic street in West Palm Beach. Leslie has transformed a run down space into a beautiful gallery and boutique where patrons can shop one-of-a-kind pieces, fine art, order custom furniture, browse the design library, and receive full service interior design for both residential and commercial projects. Being an artist most of her life, this space allows her to exhibit her unique pieces. She has done several commissions in her style of mixed media fluid painting. She creates pop art, abstract, and mixed media works. Her most recent collection utilizes natural gemstones, quartz, glass, agates, and geodes. This collection is currently available at the Luxe Furniture Gallery & Boutique at 500 Northwood Rd in West Palm Beach.
